Player jobs guide

RuneHaven Jobs

Jobs are one of the main ways to earn money, job points and job XP while playing survival on RuneHaven. Pick jobs that match how you play and you will earn rewards naturally while you grind.

You can join up to 3 jobs at a time. Mine, build, farm, fish, fight mobs, craft gear, brew potions, enchant items or explore the map. The best setup is usually a mix of jobs that fit your normal playstyle.

How jobs work

Use /jobs in game to open the Jobs menu. Once you join a job, you earn rewards by doing that job's normal survival actions, like mining ores, farming crops, catching fish, killing mobs, placing blocks, crafting items, brewing potions, enchanting gear, or exploring the world.

Money

Money is the main economy reward. When a job pays money, it goes toward your server balance and helps with shops, trading, ranks, and progression.

Job points

Job points are a separate Jobs reward. They are earned from the same job actions, but they have hourly limits so the system stays fair and grindy.

Job XP

Job XP is what levels your job. Higher job levels take more grinding, but your rewards scale as you level up.

Choose your path

There are 12 jobs available. Each job can level up to 200, and each job has its own paid actions, daily quest, and progression path.

Important Jobs info

FeatureWhat it means for you
Maximum jobsYou can join up to 3 jobs at once. Pick jobs that work well together for how you like to play.
Maximum levelEvery job can reach level 200. The higher you go, the more time and grinding it takes.
Leveling formulaHigher levels require more job XP, so early levels come faster and later levels are meant to feel like a long term grind.
Income scalingMoney and points scale up as your job level goes up. Having multiple jobs is useful, but spreading across more jobs slightly reduces each payout.
XP scalingJob XP is also slightly reduced when you have more than one job, so choosing your 3 jobs carefully matters.
Payment delayPayouts may show in small batches instead of instantly every single action. This keeps the server smoother.
Action barYou will normally see job rewards appear through action bar messages while you play.
Dynamic paymentJob values do not automatically rise or drop based on popularity. Payouts are balanced directly by the server.
TaxesThere is no Jobs tax taking money away from your job payouts.
Money capThe Jobs money limit is not used here, but other Jobs rewards still have limits to keep progression fair.
Point and XP capsJob points and job XP have hourly limits so one method cannot be abused forever.

Fair gameplay

Fair play and anti-abuse rules

Fair play protections

  • Spawner kills do not pay job rewards.
  • Place and break protection is enabled to stop block farming abuse.
  • Recently placed blocks have a short protection timer.
  • Recently broken blocks also have a short protection timer.
  • Ore generator protection is enabled so generated ore abuse does not become a money farm.
  • For regular mobs, you need to do most of the damage to earn the Hunter payout.
  • Major boss style mobs are handled separately so boss fights and custom PvE do not break unfairly.

Server rule reminder

Jobs are meant to reward active vanilla style gameplay. AFK fishing farms, freecam, xray, baritone, auto clickers, macros, hacked clients, duping and exploit abuse are not allowed.

Fisherman is for active fishing. Hunter is for active combat. Miner, Farmer and Lumberjack are for normal gathering. Anything that turns a job into automated abuse is not allowed.
